- Pupils should know how to deal with situations needing emergency first aid.
- Pupils will learn the ABC for unconscious patients:
- Airway
- Breathing
- Circulation
Objectives
By the end of the scenario the children should:
- consider the safety of themselves and the casualty
- know to shout for help
- assess the situation
- remember the ABC for the unconscious patient
- know how to put an unconscious patient into the recovery position
- know how to get help - 999 call
